Concordia Student Scholarships for Third GATE Training Course in Montreal

Thanks to funding provided by Concordia University and the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, we are happy to offer 5 scholarships to Concordia students to cover the registrations fees for participating in the 3rd GATE Training Course, which will take place at Concordia University from August 30--September 3. To be eligible, you must be currently registered as a full-time student at Concordia.

Preference will be given to those students that are currently using (or planning to use) GATE for their research projects. Hence, in your letter of intent, you should explicitly state:

  • A brief description of the project for which you (plan to) use GATE
  • What part(s) of GATE you will employ in your project
  • Which track you plan to register for
  • Previous experience with GATE
  • What outcomes (software, resources) of your research, if any, will be released as open source components

Application deadline is Monday, August 9th (23:59 Eastern time). Submit the following documents:

  • Letter of intent (1 page max.)
  • Letter of recommendation from a Concordia faculty member
  • Proof of Concordia student status
