SMWCon Spring 2014
The Spring 2014 SMWCon [11] will be held May 21-23 in Montréal, Canada. SMWCon is a twice-yearly event for users and developers of Semantic MediaWiki. You can read the conference announcement here [12].
Location
The Spring 2014 SMWCon will be held at Concordia University in Montréal. Montréal is the second-largest city in Canada and the metropolis of the province of Quebec. Rich in culture and history, Montréal has earned itself a reputation as one of the liveliest cities in North America for its festivals during summer time.
The conference is split in two parts:
- the tutorial day, where experts will teach various topics related to wikis: usage, applications, development, business models
- the conference days that gather talks from academia, business, government and non-profit representatives about applying semantic wikis to practice and the newest research in the field.
