LODeXporter: Transforming GATE Annotations to LOD Triples

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionPDF versionPDF version

1. Introduction

The LODeXporter is a GATE component that can export NLP annotations directly to a triplestore, with configurable vocabularies, for use in LOD applications.

LODeXporter is described in our LREC 2018 publication [1]: Calzolari, N., K. Choukri, C. Cieri, T. Declerck, S. Goggi, K. Hasida, H. Isahara, B. Maegaard, J. Mariani, H. Mazo, et al. (Eds.), Witte, R., and B. Sateli, "The LODeXporter: Flexible Generation of Linked Open Data Triples from NLP Frameworks for Automatic Knowledge Base Construction", Proceedings of the Eleventh International Conference on Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC 2018), Miyazaki, Japan : European Language Resources Association (ELRA), pp. 2423-2428, May 7-12, 2018.

For an example agile data science workflow incorporating LODeXporter, see [2]: Sateli, B., and R. Witte, "From Papers to Triples: An Open Source Workflow for Semantic Publishing Experiments", Semantics, Analytics, Visualisation: Enhancing Scholarly Data (SAVE-SD 2016), Montréal, QC, Canada : Springer, 04/2016.
