OWLExporter ontology export

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionPDF versionPDF version

Hi all,
I am using GATE 7.0 devoloper edition and OWLExporter 3.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit.

I am able to run the exporter on my corpus and see the annotations in GATE (none of them are empty).

Unfortunately, the "domain_out.owl" and "nlp_out.owl", in the gate/application-resources/ontologies/ are the default ontologies (i.e. the ontologies that were there in the first place). I have also tried changing the location of the savefile in the OWLExporter tab, to no effect.

Can anyone please help me?

As mentioned in this thread: there are some updates required for GATE7. We plan to release the new OwlExporter version some time next week.

Hey, thanks for the prompt

Hey, thanks for the prompt reply.
I will be more than happy to use the update which you release next week, but could you please give me a development package? I am working on something right now and it eould be great if could start right away.

Thanks in advance.

snapshot release

I sent it to the email in your profile. It's a snapshot of our development version; it should work, but we can't give any support for this version, so if you run into problems I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the official release.

Hey, thanks a lot again for

Hey, thanks a lot again for mailing it to me. Unfortunately, it did not solve my issues.
I understand it will be impractical to extend support for a nightly release.
I guess I will wait for the stable release. Really looking forward to it.

Try release 3.1

We uploaded OwlExporter 3.1 for GATE 7; you can now install it directly from GATE's Plugin Manager and run the included example pipeline.

Please let us know if it still doesn't work for you.

Cheers, René
